The Azure Migration and Enablement bootcamp is a 5-day course, split up into small, digestible sessions, to help Microsoft partners jump start their Datacenter Migration efforts and help them to successfully develop their Datacenter Migration practice. As a successful migration practice does not stop with the actual migration, the bootcamp has been developed in close alignment with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework to not only equip attendees with the skills to successfully migrate a customer, but to also manage and optimize multiple customer environments, running on Azure, successfully.

Course Agenda

Module 1: Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Migrate and Data migration

TIME : 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Lessons

Cloud Adoption Framework: An overview of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and how to leverage this for your organization and your customers.
Azure Migrate: In depth session on how to use Azure Migrate to assess an existing environment and how to leverage both Azure Migrate to migrate the environment to Azure.
Data Migration: Explanation on the different tools and services to move databases and data to Azure.

Module 2: Azure Governance and Landing Zones

Lessons

Azure Governance and Landing Zones
Having good governance is essential to a successful migration. We go over the tools available and how to use them. This will include, among others, tools like Templates, Policies and Blueprints

Module 3: Azure Lighthouse and Identity

TIME : 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Lessons

Identity: Managing security for the cloud can be challenging. This session covers Identity management and integration options with local Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
Azure Lighthouse: During this session we will show you how to easily manage multiple customer environments running on Azure.
Azure Lighthouse is a true game changer for partners. This session will explain the benefit and how to use Azure Lighthouse.

Module 4: Azure Optimization

TIME : 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Lessons

Azure Monitoring, Automation and Optimization: After a successful migration it is key to keeping everything running smoothly in a secure manner while limiting the cost.
In this session we will go over the Azure features and tools that deal with Security and Operations. This will include Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor and Azure Automat

Module 5: Hands on Labs

Hands on labs execution will cover the following exercises:

Here is the course outline:

In this module, we will discuss about adopting the Cloud Framework and to leverage this in your organization. We will also discuss Azure Migration and Data Migration and how to use it.

Here in this module, we will go through the tools available and how to use them. This will include, among others, tools like Templates, Policies and Blueprints.
